The Kapil Sharma Show: There is news of a rift between actors Akshay Kumar and Kapil Sharma. Due to which Akshay has refused to go on comedian Kapil Sharma’s TV show for the promotion of his upcoming film ‘Bachchan Pandey’. The film is releasing on March 18 on the occasion of Holi but Akshay has told the producers that he will not go on the show. The reason for the rift between the two is said to be the leak of a video clip.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, Akshay Kumar had come to The Kapil Sharma Show some time ago to promote his film Atrangi Re. During this, Kapil joked about him interviewing PM Narendra Modi. In this interview, Akshay had asked the PM whether he eats mangoes by cutting them or by sucking them. A video clip of this conversation between the two has surfaced, it was not shown in the show but this video has surfaced a few days back.
According to the information, Akshay Kumar had requested the channel not to show this conversation with Kapil. Akshay Kumar had asked the channel not to air this part because of being a joke on the Prime Minister in this. This was accepted by the channel but later this part got leaked and became quite viral on social media. In such a situation, Akshay Kumar is considering it against professional thinking and is said to be very upset. An explanation has been sought from the channel and Kapil on their behalf.
Due to this rift between Kapil Sharma and Akshay Kumar, the promotion of Bachchan Pandey has been postponed. Currently, the shooting of this show has been postponed. The filmmakers are hopeful that soon everything will be sorted out between Akshay and Kapil after which he will come on the show. Apart from Akshay, Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez are also in the lead roles in this Farhad Samji film.
