According to reports, PM Modi called the election of Indian-origin Kamala Harris as historic and invited her to visit India.
Some pictures of the meeting of PM Modi and Kamala Harris have also surfaced, which are now becoming very viral on social media, on which users are also giving their reactions fiercely. Meanwhile, a user on Twitter shared news related to the meeting between PM Modi and Harris and tagged BJP Rajya Sabha member Subramanian Swamy and wrote that ‘PM Modi invited US Vice President to India…’.
On this tweet of the user, the BJP leader quipped and wrote, ‘And if she does not come?’
Let us tell you that this is the first meeting between the two leaders. Earlier, Harris spoke to Modi over the phone during the Covid-19 crisis in India. Harris described India as a “very important partner” of the US. Also welcomed the announcement of New Delhi in which India has talked about resuming the export of Covid-19 vaccine soon.
In April this year, India stopped the export of Covid vaccines after the second wave of the pandemic hit the country. On Monday, India said it would resume exporting additional vaccines as needed in the fourth quarter of 2021 under the “Vaccine Friendship” program and to meet its commitment to the Covax global campaign.
