Looking at the content of Sudarshan News, the first thing that comes to mind is that in lieu of showing propaganda news, it must have received financial help in the form of advertisements from BJP governments. But if you come to know that even non-BJP parties are not lagging behind in maintaining this channel, then it is natural to be shocked. But the truth is that non-BJP parties, including Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party and Congress, are proving to be very helpful in keeping this channel alive. This has been revealed from a Right to Information report.

Before talking on this report, look at the past of this channel, before the Modi regime, the financial condition of this channel was very modest. In the world of channels, it was seen in the same way as the Antyodaya ration card holder in the society. From 2011-12 to 2014, Sudarshan News, the channel of Suresh Chavhanke, who is facing rape charges, had received government advertisements worth only 3.5 lakhs.
But as soon as the Modi government came to the center, the good days of this channel also started, which the Modi government had promised before coming to power. The advertisement amount given by central government to this channel has increased twenty times. This channel of Suresh Chavhanke got advertisements of 23 lakhs. Talking about the years ahead, Sudarshan News received advertisements up to 81.3 lakh in 2017-18. At present, the data after this is not available.
But because these advertisements were given by the BJP government, it can be assumed that the Bharatiya Janata Party is paying the debt of setting its agenda by spending advertisements on the channel. But the information received from the RTI is shocking that the parties which themselves oppose this propaganda channel, are not behind the BJP in giving financial strength to this channel. The Aam Aadmi Party government of Delhi has issued advertisements worth Rs 17,39,202 to this hateful channel, while the Congress government of Chhattisgarh has also given advertisements of Rs 16,80,103 to this channel with open arms.
However, for advertising to any news channel or newspaper, it is the practice of the Information and Public Relations Department of that state to give advertisements to them by making merit on the basis of TRP of the channel and circulation of newspapers. But all this happens only on paper. The final decision on advertising to media organizations is made only on the basis of the consent of the head of the state concerned.
Now that the advertisements given by the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress-ruled states to Sudarshan News channel doing the business of hate has already been exposed, then it can be understood that night and day those who are cursing the social disruptive politics of BJP. What is the real agenda of these parties?
