Amitabh Bachchan reacts after getting slammed by Facebook users for doing ‘Pan Masala’ ad

Bollywood film actor Amitabh Bachchan recently had a paan masala advertisement. Big B has advertised Pan Masala along with Ranveer Singh. On advertising Kamala’s paan masala, the public slammed Big B on social media that he got stunned and started arguing with a Facebook user.

Actually it happened that on Amitabh Bachchan’s Facebook post, a Facebook user showing a mirror to Amitabh Bachchan said, “Praam sir, only one thing wanted to ask from you. What is the need that you also had to advertise Kamala Paan Masala, then what is the difference left between you and those pebbles?”

Bachchan felt so bad with this question that he replied saying, “Dear Sir, I am apologizing, if someone is doing good in any business, then one should not think that why we are associated with him. Yes, if there is a business, then in that we also have to think about our business. Now you feel that I should not have done this, but by doing this, yes I also get money, but there are many people working in our industry. Those who are employees also get work and money too. Sir, the word ‘Tutpunjiya’ does not suit your mouth and neither does it suit other artists of our industry. I greet you with respect.”

On this reply of Amitabh Bachchan, the public again slammed him and said, “Amitabh Bachchan sir, you are trying to say that if we have to do anything for money, then we can do it even if it affects our society and country. If it’s not wrong, is it right? Now you do not have any such compulsion to earn money. In life, you have enjoyed every single moment of life in such a way that most people can’t even imagine in their dreams.

A Facebook user named Anjana Janartha wrote, “Amitabh Bachchan Ji, would you recommend Abhishek or Aaradhya to eat Kamala Pan Masala, if not how can you recommend to someone else.”

Amitabh Bachchan made it clear that in the name of giving employment to more people for money, he can advertise any such product which is dangerous for the health of the people.

Amitabh Bachchan’s reply to Facebook users on telling the truth sends a message that such celebrities whom we call superstars, treat them like icons, they have nothing to do with social concerns, they are only their business. Perhaps that is why celebrities easily advertise products like paan-masala, gutkha.
