In Bihar, five MLAs of Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday. This meeting is being called a courtesy call, but still the market of speculation is heating up whether AIMIM MLAs can hold on to JDU.
The meeting was led by Akhtarul Iman, President and MLA of the state unit of AIMIM. Along with him were four other MLAs Mohammad Izhar Asafi, Shahnawaz Alam, Syed Ruknuddin and Azhar Naeemi. The five MLAs reached the Chief Minister’s residence to meet him. JDU leader and minister Vijay Chaudhary were also present with the MLAs.
The issues discussed during the meeting with the Chief Minister have not been disclosed yet. However, it was claimed by party leader Mohammad Adil Hasan that the legislators have met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for the development of Seemanchal. In the recent Bihar election, five AIMIM MLAs from the same area have won the assembly.
Adil Hasan said that we do not have any opposition with Nitish Kumar but from BJP. He said that Owaisi always wanted to join hands with Nitish, if he would have agreed to leave the BJP. Adil said that our MLAs will continue to meet Chief Minister Nitish Kumar even further.
Let us tell you that recently, BSP’s only MLA Jama Khan joined JDU with an independent MLA Sumit Singh. Apart from this, LJP MLA Raj Kumar Singh has also met Nitish Kumar. In such a situation, the market of speculation is heating up with these meetings.
