A video of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni, who got into controversy over the case of farmer massacre in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh on October 3, is going viral on social media, in which he is seen abusing and threatening journalists. In the viral video, when a journalist of news channel ABP News asked the Union Minister of State for Home a question about his son Ashish, he got furious.
In fact, when the journalist of ABP news channel asked the minister about the SIT investigation regarding the Lakhimpur Kheri incident, the minister got angry and started abusing. It is alleged that he tried to intimidate, threaten the TV reporter. He then ordered another journalist present there to switch off his mobile.
The angry minister told the reporter, “Don’t ask such stupid questions.” He then ordered the reporter to stop filming him as he shouted, “Dimagh kharab hai kya tera (Have you lost your mind?)” At the same time, in another video, he is seen abusing the journalist who asked questions related to the allegations against his son Ashish Mishra.
Significantly, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Lakhimpur Kheri violence has claimed on the basis of the investigation and evidence so far that the incident was well-planned and deliberately carried out under conspiracy by the son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra ‘Teni’ and his associates. SIT’s Chief Investigating Inspector Vidyaram Diwakar, in an application made in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), has requested to prosecute the accused under the sections of the above charges.
